Everybody has a hobby! A hobby is something you enjoy doing in your free time. Write about your favorite hobby. Tell me how you got started? What do you like about it? Would you recommend to others in the classroom? Why or why not?
Johanna B. It has to be track/running because when I was small I would run around and play. I recommend you do some run to build up some energy and get even healthier!
Karlye C. My favorite hobby is soccer and track. I want to make the best of soccer. Because of the dream I have. the dream is that I want to make a good soccer. The track was the fast of all.
Rebecca B. My favorite hobby is painting/sketching. I started painting like any other kid, with finger paints, but as I got older I realized I could paint more than a flower with a butterfly. I started paintings abstracts, and just random little things, then I started getting better and better, that I did more detailed work. My parents got me a bunch of paints and canvases for Christmas, and that's when It became a hobby I really enjoyed. I still sketch, but I mostly paint. I like sketching because you can make different shades, and be very specific with what you want. Sometimes I even sketch a picture then, I paint it.
Cassie W. My favorite hobby would have to be making jewellery because I love shearing my gift with other people that will enjoy it. I started making jewellery two Christmases ago when almost everyone gave me jewellery kits with beads and wires. Last year I started selling all the jewellery that I make. I haven't been selling anything lately. I am hoping to start a small business by selling all the jewellery I make. My other favorite hobby is sketching, which I resonantly started. My favorite thing to sketch is owls.
Kyleigh B. my hobby is playing piano, i got started when my mom brought home a big, old and torn up plastic piano keyboard and left me alone for 2 hours and by the time she came back, i had already learned how to play like 5 songs! I like it because it is a stress reliever and whenever i am feeling a certain way that is not happy, i will play piano and my problems will just fade away.I would recommend it to the class because i think it is a beautiful instrument and you could use it to praise the Lord with your piano skills. It has a lot of history so it will be a great history lesson also, my favorite history lesson is the one about Beethoven, I've been playing for a long time now and i will continue to praise the Lord with my beautiful gift form God.
Cynthia E. my hobby is writing, i got started when i was in 5th grade and i was starting to make little book about my pets, then my family, then i was going to start make a novel.
Amiah A. My thing I do is reading I love reading. I love to get lost in stories. It all started when I learned to read and write. My favorite series right now is whatever after. I advise you to read it if you like fairy tales like the little mermaid and snow white stuff like that and for me that's fun to read a lot with adventures.
Patricia A. My hobby would have to be learning how to ride a horse. I have three horses and I would like to be able to get to now them before I ride them. I take a horses bonding class that helps me get to now my horse. I have always love having and working with horse. I would not tell a classmate to do this if they are scared of them because most people are. That is my life.
Isaiah G. my hobby is skateboarding. when i was about 5 years of age my mom sent me to a skate school. i did not like it very much so i quite. i started going to a public skate park. all of the kids there started teaching me how to skate. now i am better than all of them. i would let others know about the joys of skateboarding, like when you go to competition you win money like me.
Hunter W My hobby is Boy Scouts. I like scouts because i get time with my friends an get to go camping. You get stated by going to a meeting and having your parents sign you up. I think most of the boys in class could enjoy scouting.
Mrs. B I have lots of hobbies but the one that takes the most time is running. I started running races about two years ago. I like it because it is something that I can do with my husband. I also like to run races and try to improve my times. I would recommend running and racing because it is fun. I have made lot of new friends at practice and have become more fit too.
