Once upon a time, believe it or not, your parents were the same age as you are! Write an imaginary diary entry that your mother or father might have written at your age.
Isaiah G. Jan 14, 1979 I just got a new television today. i am going to invite my friends over to bring a VCR tape. When they came over we watched cabbage patch girls.

Today in school we played boys chase girls at recess, it was very fun, i didn't like lunch because i don't like their chicken.When i grow up i want to be a dolphin, i like to pretend I'm a dolphin when I'm in the pool.On my birthday i want to have a pool party just to prove that i am the prettiest dolphin in the world. i am going to have a lot of presents and a lot of cake, it is going to be great!
Cynthia E. Today my oldest sister Suzanne got a to sleep over at her friend house and, then that mean I can go in her room and read her diary.And wow she i has a crush on this boy with blond hair and brown eyes.Oh my sister its so weird.

Karlye C. Today at school on January 14 1987. My mom name Kelly she will be in 5th grade. I think she will be a good girl. Because of her mother. Her mother is named Julie. She is a goooooood person but she it strict. But I love them both the same.
Patricia A. my mother would probably going to a new school because she moved around a lot because my grandfather was in the military. She would most likely go to school and then come home and redoing her bedroom. My mother would work on the weekend for the military wives. She would take care for the kids that they have. She would take care for 7 to 10 kids at i time. them my mother would help her mother with her younger brothers and sisters. She loved two be at side in the woods and just be in the fresh air. Then she would go to the store and get dinner for the family.
Johanna B. January 14 1985 Today is going to be the best day ever. I'm going to make a new friend today. I didn't make a new a friend. But today I got one of those expensive cool watches and I sat at the cool table with the cool kids because they liked my watch but they weren't really my type so that was my life in the fifth grade today.
Cassie W. January 3th 1987 Happy New Year!!! Sorry I haven't been writing as much as I used to, I've been so busy with school and friends that it's two weeks befor I rember to write. I went swiming with my best friend Amy and she's in the shower now. Jennifer
Amiah A. My dad at age 11 was one of the popular kids. He also was a daredevil he has been doing stunts like garage jumping you ask what is garage jumping is well it is were you play tag on a garage jumping to others (garages) so you won't get tagged he didn't have any nicknames at the time he also was on a basketball team and his number for the jursey was four. His favorite color's was purple and blue. His favorite subject in school was current events he said he didn't have a favorite teacher because he only had one teacher but that's okay. He had many friends and okay grades Bs and Cs. This is approved by my dad.
Hunter W. January 14th 1987 Today I'm ground, I got into a fistfight with my brother and now I'm not aloud to leave the house or play electronics. I am going to sneak out of the house and meet my friends at the bowling ally Charles
Tyler W Today I got home from school in my station wagon and rushed to the Atari to play it first. after a few games my mom told me to go outside and get some fresh air. So me and some kids on my block played kick the can.
Rebecca B. July 22nd, 1969. The space shuttle took off 2 days ago. I watched on the T.V, in black in white, the magnificent aircraft burst into the sky. The White smoke and red fire coming out of the bottom was a sight to see, If only I lived in Florida, and not in Colorado. Everyone at school is talking about it, one of my best friends even got to go see it take off. This seemed to be all the buzz in the 1st grade classroom in Berthoud, Colorado, and it will certainly be remembered for years to come.
Desaree C. Once upon a time my mother wrote a dairy about herself when she little. she took pictures of were she lived,and she sent pictures to our cousins, aunts,uncles,that live orlando,and my grandparents that live in georgia.
